Donate to The Deaf Society
Will you give a special gift which could help save a life.
By donating to The Deaf Society Appeal your donations will help buy vital equipment, like visual smoke alarms and flashing doorbells for people who are deaf or hard of hearing. Marcia is 76 years and deaf, and she feels unsafe without a fire alarm that will alert her to danger. Your gift could save someone's life.
By donating to the Deaf Society, you will be showing your support to help us provide vital supports that improve the lives of deaf and hard of hearing people like Marcia, who is over 65 and not eligible for the National Disability Insurance Scheme (NDIS).
We are endorsed by the Australian Taxation Office as a Deductible Gift Recipient (DGR). All donations over $2 are tax deductible.
You can make an online donation now by making a secure credit card payment.
You can also donate to us by writing a cheque, payable to "The Deaf Society” and post it to:
PO Box 1300

We are fortunate that many benefactors choose to leave us a with a bequest in their wills, after they have provided for their family and other loved ones. This help can make a real difference to the lives of deaf people and their families. One such example is the generous bequest made by the late Mr and Mrs Epstein. Investment income from this legacy continues to help fund our services and programs. Suggested wording for bequests is shown below:
“I give to the Deaf Society of NSW the sum of $________ for its general purposes free of all duties and taxes payable upon or in consequence of my death. I declare the receipt of the Honorary Treasurer, Chief Executive Officer, or other authorised officer shall be sufficient to discharge to my executors”.
